2. Employment direction of electrical engineering
① Power companies at all levels
State Grid Corporation, China Southern Power Grid Corporation and five major power generation companies-Datang, Huaneng, Guodian, Huadian and China Power Investment Corporation should be the employment of electrical graduates, but these famous enterprises also have high requirements for talents and fierce competition. Provincial power companies, prefecture-level power supply companies or power supply bureaus are more realistic choices for electrical graduates, and the treatment is also good. In order to get better development in power supply companies, job seekers need to have good comprehensive quality.
② Electric Power Design Institute and Electric Power Research Institute
Design institutes and research institutes have always been regarded as "elite" territories with graduate education or above, mainly engaged in the design, field debugging, testing, data reporting and research of power plants, substations and lines. Domestic electric power design institutes mainly include Central South Electric Power Design Institute, Northwest Electric Power Design Institute, North China Electric Power Design Institute, East China Electric Power Design Institute, South China Electric Power Design Institute, Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute and Henan Electric Power Survey and Design Institute. Electric power research institutes mainly include China Electric Power Research Institute and East China Electric Power Experimental Research Institute.

Engineering Bureau is mainly responsible for power plant construction and substation construction. People work where power plants are built.
