For example, pulse diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine is combined with blood test of western medicine, B-ultrasound and other medical technologies to diagnose diseases, and colds are treated with Chinese and western medicines such as Ganmao Qingre Granule and Baijiahei.
This major trains applied talents with good humanistic quality, scientific quality and professional quality, systematic basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills of Chinese and Western medicine, clinical diagnosis and treatment ability of common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases, and can engage in medical treatment, prevention, health care and rehabilitation in the medical and health field.
Training requirements: Students in this major mainly study the basic theory and knowledge of Chinese and Western medicine, receive humanities, science, vocational support, basic training of Chinese and Western medicine and clinical skills education, and master the basic clinical ability of integrated Chinese and Western medicine.
The study contents include: pathological anatomy, prescription, medical imaging, ancient Chinese medicine, physiology, febrile diseases, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine orthopedics, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine surgery, dermatology and venereology.
