The library environment of Tan Kah Kee College of Xiamen University is very good, and its hardware facilities are comparable to those of 985 colleges. A considerable number of teachers are former teachers or graduate students of Xiamen University. The library is located in Building 3 (1 to Floor 5) of the main building group of the campus, with a total construction area of 37,792 square meters. It was put into trial operation in June 2004 and officially opened in April 2005. The library implements the "one-door" service mode of collecting, lending and reading.
