Hengyang Normal University is the first batch of students enrolled in Hunan. We usually think that Hengyang Normal University is a university and has not changed its name. Hengyang Normal University is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning directly under Hunan Province with the approval of the Ministry of Education. The school is located in the historical and cultural city where Cai Lun's hometown is located, Hengyang, an excellent tourist city in China, and the hometown of Wang Chuanshan (Wang Fuzhi).

Hengyang Normal University enjoys a superior geographical position, with Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue in the north and Xiangjiang River in the south. It is surrounded by Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, Gui Xiang High-speed Railway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Hengzao Expressway, Shao Heng Expressway and Hengyan Expressway, 2 kilometers away from Hengyang East Railway Station and 20 kilometers away from Nanyue Airport.

The school campus environment is beautiful. It is a "garden-style unit" and "civilized university" in Hunan Province. The east and west campuses cover an area of ***2 166 mu.
