The predecessor of Guizhou Normal University-"National Guiyang Normal College" was founded in 194 1, and it was one of the eight national normal colleges in China at that time. 1950 10 was renamed "Guiyang Normal University"; 1954 10 The Ministry of Education entrusts the management of Guizhou Provincial People's Government; 1985 was renamed as "Guizhou Normal University".

The school has a complete range of disciplines, covering philosophy, literature and education 1 1 disciplines.
