The National University was founded by the provisional governments of Shanghai and South Korea after the Japanese army surrendered. 1946, members of the government in exile under Japanese rule (Shanghai Provisional Government) established a national university to train leaders needed to rebuild the country. The first president and chairman of the board of directors of the National University were Mr. Hai Gongshen Yixi, the first speaker of the National Assembly. 1959, which was taken over by Mr. Cheng Kun, the founder of Ssangyong Group. Its educational ideal is to train necessary leaders for South Korea's modernization, so national universities have been working hard for this idea. Minzu University is located at the foot of Beihan Mountain, with beautiful campus environment, good teaching facilities, advanced teaching equipment and strong teachers.
