Sichuan Agricultural University, referred to as "Sichuan Agricultural University", is located in Ya 'an City, Sichuan Province. Sichuan Tongsheng Agricultural School:

At the end of the Qing Dynasty, under the impetus of the national trend of developing an academic power, Xu Handu, the minister in charge of Sichuan Province, played the role of Qing court, hoping to set up a secondary agricultural school in Sichuan. 1906 (thirty-two years of Guangxu in Qing dynasty), Sichuan Tongsheng Agricultural School was established in the old warehouse on the right side of Houzaimen Baochuan Bureau in Chengdu, which was the first agricultural school established in Sichuan and the historical origin of Sichuan Agricultural University.

School started on June 1906, and the opening ceremony was officially held on September 12. At the ceremony, Liang, governor of Sichuan Province, gave instructions: "Sichuan has thousands of miles of fertile land, which was called land and sea in ancient times. In order to compete with the world with the benefits of silk, we have to advocate agronomy as a preparation for revitalizing agriculture.
