Henan University of Science and Technology School 1952 was established in Beijing. 1956, in order to meet the needs of the construction and layout of the national industrial base, it was moved to Luoyang, and later renamed Luoyang Institute of Technology, which belongs to the Ministry of Machinery Industry. 1998, transferred to Henan province for management. In 2002, Luoyang Institute of Technology, Luoyang Medical College and Luoyang Agricultural College merged to form Henan University of Science and Technology.
