Comprehensive transformation. On August 17, 2022, the Hohhot Municipal People's Government issued a notice, and the upgrading and reconstruction project of the old 1 10 national highway from West Street of Genghis Khan to Qiduan was fully launched, with a total length of 25.635 kilometers. The starting point of the upgrading project is located on the west side of West wusutu Village, Youyouban Town, Huimin District, Hohhot, where Genghis Khan West Street meets the old 1 10 national highway and crosses Genghis Khan West Street. The route goes west along the old 1 10 national highway, passes through Huijin Road (G6 west exit of Hohhot), Jinchuan Development Zone, and then passes through the Third Ring Road, Taihemu Town and Hongfu Road. Then it passes through G590 1 Hohhot Ring Expressway, passes through Jinshan Campus of Inner Mongolia Medical University, Boao Road, Bingzhou Haixiang and G6 Bikeqi Exit, ends at Bi Ke Qizhen Tax Office, and connects with the national highway 1 10 Bi Ke Qizhen Old Road. In order to carry out the construction smoothly, the Bikeqi Expressway to Jinshan expressway was officially closed on August 9, and the milling operation began on August 10. It is estimated that the main body will be completed by the end of 2022.
