Shenzhen University is the only comprehensive university in Shenzhen and the largest undergraduate college in Shenzhen.

However, as a double-non-university, Shenzhen University is not inferior to some 985, 2 1 1 schools in terms of geographical location, hardware facilities, teaching quality and employment opportunities, which is equivalent to the last 2 1 1 school.
Shenzhen University lacks a strong enough major to stand out in the evaluation. When Shenzhen University was founded, it was aided by famous domestic universities, including Peking University, electronics and architecture in Tsinghua, and economics and law in the National People's Congress, which laid a good foundation for the future development of these disciplines in Shenzhen University. Shenzhen University is located in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It is a comprehensive university approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. The school has four campuses, namely, Yuehai, Canghai, Lihu and Luohu, with a total campus area of 2.72 square kilometers and a total campus construction area of 6,543.8+0.469 million square meters.
Shenzhen University was founded in 1983, when Tsinghua University aided the construction of civil water conservancy. Chinese, foreign languages and computer majors were aided by Peking University; China Renmin University aided the construction of law and economics related majors.
