How to study computer major in university?
The first step is to lay a good foundation and learn every subject I want to talk about well: advanced mathematics, line number, probability theory, C/C++/Java/ assembly, data structure and algorithm, computer composition principle, compilation principle, database principle, computer network, operating system and digital logic. I should spend all my spare time programming, and I'd better have 20,000-30,000 lines of programming experience before graduation.

The second step is to find your own interests and practice a lot. If you choose to work directly instead of taking the postgraduate entrance examination after graduation, you can practice all kinds of algorithms by yourself, from simple to complex, all by yourself. If you plan to study for a master's degree, find a direction that interests you, such as machine learning, computer vision, human-computer interaction, natural language processing, formal methods, computer graphics and image processing, and then try to implement the above algorithms. This step is based on your solid study of the first step.

Good luck with your studies!
