Also known as GPA, it is another way to measure ranking or achievement. In our normal university, the GPA is 4 (honor class 4.3), and there are different grades down.
GPA is different from the final grade, and it is ranked according to the number of elective courses in this subject, so that everyone can measure their position in the class and grade. The specific calculation method of GPA can be found in the freshman handbook after enrollment.
High GPA is naturally accompanied by more gains and opportunities. For example, generally speaking, the conditions for obtaining scholarships or other important internship opportunities require an average GPA of above 3.0; If there are students who plan to take the postgraduate entrance examination, they should stabilize their grade point at 3.3; Some practical activities organized by the school will also have corresponding grade point requirements, mainly in the hope that everyone will not accidentally fall behind in the colorful campus life.
Improving your GPA is a long process, which requires the cooperation of our grades in each course. Therefore, for students who pay attention to their grades, they may pay attention to their GPA and grades from the beginning of their freshman year, otherwise it will be difficult to improve later.
2 credits
Before choosing courses, it is necessary to popularize the concept of "credit". Every course selected in the university corresponds to a certain number of credits, and only by passing the exam of this course can you get the corresponding credits. Different majors have different requirements for total credits. Only when the accumulated credits meet the professional requirements can they graduate. You can graduate early if you finish your credits in advance.
The credit learning rules of our school are also consistent with the above introduction: under the guidance of the course selection instructor, our students reasonably arrange their own learning process every semester, complete the total credits stipulated in the teaching plan of this major, and pass the situation and policy examination before graduation.
Considering that some freshmen will feel a little confused, they are not sure how many credits they should take each semester. Here, Normal University provides a more reasonable distribution method for freshmen: students are advised to choose no more than 27 credits and no less than 20 credits per semester in the first and second grades; Elective courses in the third and fourth grades should not exceed 24 credits per semester, and the minimum is not less than 12 credits. Everyone can study credits reasonably according to their own specific conditions and study arrangements. In addition, considering special circumstances, the school allows students to graduate early or extend their study years after completing credits, but the longest study period shall not exceed 6 years (including suspension).
