In recent years, the innovative ability of college students is often mentioned, because it is generally believed that college students lack innovative ability. More and more students seem to be only satisfied with understanding or even copying other people's ideas, viewpoints or achievements, rather than developing their own new things.

In my opinion, the main reason for the above problems is that universities have not fully fulfilled their duties of cultivating generalists, innovative talents and qualified talents. The attention of all these universities is based on exams, which forces students to study more for their grades than their synchronous quality. As a result, most students don't have enough time and energy to practice their creativity.

As we have to face the serious problem, the whole society should take measures to solve it. For example, universities can pay more attention to quality education, enterprises can establish a wider evaluation system, and so on.
