Note: 1. Time and form of preliminary competition: The preliminary competition in 2020 will be held in participating universities all over the country at 9: 00-1:00 on Sunday, October 25th, 2020. The initial questions include written answers and listening comprehension. Listening in the preliminary competition takes the form of playing recordings.
2. Final Time and Form: The written test (including listening) for the 2020 final is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 2020 at 9: 00- 1 1: 00 in institutions designated by the organizing committees of provincial competitions. The final is divided into two ways, and each place can choose one: the first way is to take only written test (including listening), and the second way is written test (including listening) and oral test. Students who only take the written test (including listening) will get full marks in the final exam 150.
Students who take the written test (including listening) and the oral test at the same time have a final score of 200, of which the written test score is 150 (including listening) and the oral test score is 50. The final test questions, oral test plan and test questions are formulated by the organizing Committee of the national competition. The organizing committee of the provincial competition uniformly chooses whether to participate in the oral test, and decides the location, time and form of the oral test.

Venue setting: The province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government) is the competition area, and the competition activities are conducted under the leadership of the competition organizing committee of the province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government). The preliminary competition is organized by the participating universities, and the final competition is arranged by the organizing committees of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government).
