The College of Physics and Electronic Engineering of Xinjiang Normal University was formally established on March 4th, 20 10, which was formed on the basis of the physics major and electronic engineering major of the former School of Mathematical Information. There are 49 faculty members in the college, including 6 professors and 9 associate professors, among whom 5 have obtained doctoral degrees, 8 are studying doctoral degrees and 30 have obtained master's degrees or above. The college has two undergraduate disciplines: physics (normal major) and electronic information science and technology (non-normal major); Master's degree authorization points in theoretical physics and master's degree authorization points in physics curriculum and teaching theory are eligible to enroll students for master's degree in education (research direction of physics teaching in junior high school). The college has basically formed a comprehensive school-running system that focuses on undergraduate education and postgraduate education, and pays equal attention to adult education, continuing education and short-term training. It is the organizer of Xinjiang junior high school physics teacher training under the national training plan. There are nearly 1000 registered students.
