20 10 12, the Ministry of Education authorized Inner Mongolia University to pilot Master of Accounting Education (MPAcc). The MPAcc education project of School of Economics and Management of Inner Mongolia University takes "seeking truth and innovation" as the guiding ideology, based on regional management practice, and aims to "become the most important course in western ethnic areas of China" by advocating research-based teaching and research-based learning, organizing case development and case training, carrying out team practice projects, optimizing the incentive and feedback mechanism of enterprise tutors, and deepening school-enterprise cooperation.

Inner Mongolia University, founded in 1957, is located in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the first comprehensive university founded by the party and the state in minority areas after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
