National english contest for college students is the only national competition organized by the College Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee and the College Foreign Language Teaching Research Association to examine college students' comprehensive English ability. It is a national competition, and the certificates and awards are also national. The contest has four national prize levels: Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize, and the second prize you won is included in it.

The preliminaries, including written test answers and listening comprehension, are scheduled to be held all over the country at 9:00- 1 1:00 in the middle of April every year (the second Sunday in April). The finals are held in the middle of May every year (the second Sunday in May) at 9: 00 am-11:00 am all over the country. The final is divided into two forms, one is to take a written test (including listening), and the other is to take a written test (including listening) and an oral test.
