Different people have different views on whether we can change our destiny. Some people want our destiny to be in their own hands, and we can control them with determination and hard work. Others tend to believe that fate is decided by God. As far as I am concerned, I agree with the first statement.

Of course, sometimes unexpected things usually happen. For example, a healthy young man may be involved in a traffic accident and suddenly lose his legs. But that doesn't mean he can't change his tragic fate. The following reasons can explain my preference.

The main reason is that we humans have wisdom and ambition, which enables us to conquer difficulties. A good example shows that many heroes, such as Zhang Haidi, have successfully fought against her fate. On the other hand, God only helps those who help themselves. To sum up, no matter what happens, we should have confidence in ourselves and be loyal to ourselves.
