What are the special policies for college students' employment?
The special employment policies for college students are:

First, encourage college graduates to work in the grassroots and central and western regions;

Second, encourage college graduates to join the army for compulsory military service;

Third, actively hire outstanding college graduates to participate in major national and local scientific research projects;

Fourth, encourage and support college graduates to work in small and medium-sized enterprises and start their own businesses;

Five, strengthen the employment assistance for college graduates from poor families.

College graduates who have not been employed for more than half a year and require employment may apply for unemployment registration at the labor and social security department of the city or county where their household registration is located with the school certificate before entering the school.

Specific performance: public employment agencies and street labor security agencies affiliated to the labor security department should provide employment services for them free of charge. For college graduates who have registered for unemployment, cities and communities with conditions can organize them to participate in temporary social welfare activities, or they can be apprenticed to employers and given certain remuneration. For those who can't work for a short time due to illness and other reasons and have no source of income, the civil affairs department shall give temporary assistance with reference to the local urban minimum living standard.

Encourage college graduates to work in grassroots and hard areas. Governments at all levels should create working conditions for college graduates, mainly enrich urban communities and rural township grassroots units, and engage in social welfare undertakings such as education, health, public security, agricultural technology and poverty alleviation. Those who have worked in hard areas for two years or more should be recommended for admission to graduate schools. Those who apply for party and government posts and those who apply for state-owned enterprises and institutions should be given priority under the same conditions.

Encourage college graduates to start their own businesses and find jobs flexibly. College graduates engaged in self-employed businesses, except for industries restricted by the state, shall be exempted from all administrative fees for registration management within one year from the date of approval of their business by the industrial and commercial departments.
