199 1 was identified by the Ministry of Health as the central library of document resources network system in North China.
1993 was confirmed as the designated unit for novelty retrieval of scientific research achievements by the Medical Information Management Committee of the Ministry of Health (Peking University Medical Information Consulting Center).
1998 The Ministry of Education decided to set up the National Medical Literature Information Center of China Higher Education Document Guarantee System (CALIS) in peking university health science center, as the guarantee base for the documents needed by the "2 1 1 Project" medical key disciplines. The center is also located in this museum.
The main services provided by our library are: reading in the library, book borrowing, information consultation, novelty retrieval and achievement appraisal of scientific research projects, topic selection service, computer CD-ROM and network database retrieval, computer operation and Internet browsing, listening, multimedia CD-ROM reading, interlibrary loan, document delivery, document microfilm and slide production, document copying and so on.
At the same time, our library undertakes the teaching of medical literature retrieval and utilization for undergraduates, postgraduates and some advanced students of various majors, and holds various computer retrieval training courses from time to time. According to the requirements of readers, the library will constantly expand its business scope, improve its service means and improve its service quality.
