Chungbuk University was founded on September 27th, 195 1 with a history of half a century. It is one of the top ten universities in Korea and has been widely recognized in the fields of education and research. Chungcheongbuk University is a national university, located in Qingzhou, where the Taoist government of Chungcheongbuk-do is located. Our school has 12 junior colleges, 1 departments directly under the university headquarters, 6 universities and 27 research institutes, with 22,000 undergraduates and 3,000 postgraduates. There are more than 1 100 professors and lecturers and more than 25,000 students.
Chungbuk National University has unique characteristics in the fields of information and communication, medical care, life engineering, agriculture, forestry and aquaculture. Specially designated as a national key support university. From 1994 to 1998, it won an international grant of 25 billion won.
