Nanjing University provides grants (6,000 yuan/year) and academic scholarships (0.6-65,438 yuan+2,000 yuan/year) to all full-time postgraduate students (except those with fixed salary) who are included in the national postgraduate enrollment plan; Excellent master students can apply for national scholarship (20,000 yuan/person), principal scholarship and other named scholarships.

Part-time graduate students do not enjoy grants, academic scholarships and national scholarships. The Graduate School and Institute of Technology of Nanjing University provide various scholarships for graduate students, including: grants, academic scholarships, national scholarships for graduate students, scholarships for outstanding graduate students and scholarships for various titles. About 90% graduate students in the college have won scholarships. The school provides special scholarships for outstanding doctoral students (1.8 million/year). First-class academic scholarships for freshmen of Nanjing University can be obtained by direct students and master students who recommend entrance without examination.
