Zheng Qiang, male, Han nationality, China nationality, born in September, 1960, native of Chongqing, Wuyishan, Fujian, doctor of engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor. Distinguished professor, the Changjiang Scholar Award Program of the Ministry of Education, is the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a national candidate for the "100 Million Talents Project in the New Century", an expert enjoying special government allowance, director of the Key Laboratory of Polymer Synthesis and Functional Structure of the Ministry of Education, and distinguished professor of Mao Zedong Cadre College of Yan 'an University.
He is currently the Party Secretary of Taiyuan University of Technology and a member of the Standing Committee of Shanxi Provincial People's Congress. Zheng Qiang's main research interests are: polymer rheology, structure and properties of multicomponent polymer materials, polymer composites and functional polymer materials. A series of achievements have been made in the rheological research of multiphase/multicomponent complex polymer filling system, and a rheological "two-phase" model called "Song Zheng model" is put forward internationally.

1September, 1985 to1July, 1988, master's student in the Department of Polymer Materials, Chengdu University of Technology. 1August, 1988 to1September, 1990, he worked as a teacher in polymer research institute of Chengdu University of Science and Technology, engaged in the study of polyolefin morphology, structure and properties. 1March, 1990 to 199 1 August, 1990, studied for a doctorate in polymer research institute of Sichuan University.
199/kloc-0 was a student of the state education commission's preparatory school for graduate students studying in Japan from September 2000 to September 2002. 1June, 1992 to1September, 1994, he studied in the Sino-Japanese joint doctoral program at Kyoto University, Japan, and studied under Professor Xu Xuan, academician of the China Academy of Sciences, and Professor T. Masuda, then president of the International Polymer Processing Society (PPS) and president of the Japanese Rheological Society (RSJ).
