Paper format of mathematical modeling competition

Everyone has been exposed to papers in various fields, and writing papers can cultivate our ability of independent thinking and innovation. You had no idea when you wrote your paper? The following is the format of the mathematical modeling contest paper I collected for you, for reference only, and I hope it will help you.

First, the paper format specification

First, the paper should be printed on white A4 paper (single or double sided); Leave a margin of at least 2.5 cm at the top, bottom, left and right; Tie it from the left.

Article 2. The first page of the paper is the commitment letter, and the second page is the number page. See pages 3 and 4 of this specification for details.

Third, the third page of the paper is the abstract page (including the title and keywords, but it does not need to be translated into English), and the page number should be compiled from this page; Page numbers must be located in the middle of the footer of each page and numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals starting from "1". The abstract page must be a single page, and the length cannot exceed one page.

Fourth, it is the text of the paper from the fourth page (there is no table of contents, try to control it within 20 pages); After the text is an appendix (unlimited pages).

Fifth, the appendix of the paper should at least include the source codes of all the participating papers, such as the names and commands of the actually used software and all executable source programs (including the interactive commands of EXCEL, SPSS and other software); Usually, it should also include information such as data for independent access. Don't put the data provided in the competition questions in the appendix. If you lack the necessary source program or the program can't run, you may be disqualified. The appendix of the paper must be printed and bound in the paper version. If there is really no information that needs to be provided in the form of an appendix, the paper can be without an appendix.

Article 6. The text and appendix of the paper cannot contain any information that may show the identity of the respondent and his school and competition area.

Article 7. References to other people's achievements or other public materials (including online materials) must be listed in the standard format of scientific and technological paper writing, and marked in the text citation.

Article 8. For matters not covered in this specification, if the typesetting format (font size, font size, line spacing, color, etc. ) is not unified, can be decided by the division. Under the premise of not violating this specification, each division may add other requirements to the paper.

Second, the electronic paper format specification

Article 9. Each team should name and submit the following two electronic documents, corresponding to the participating papers and relevant supporting materials respectively, according to the requirements of "Notes for Registration of National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students".

Article 10 The electronic version of the participating papers cannot contain the commitment letter and special numbered pages (that is, the first page of the electronic version of the paper is the abstract page). In addition, its content and format must be completely consistent with the paper version (including text and appendix), and it must be a separate document. The file format can only be one of PDF or Word format (PDF format is recommended), and it cannot be compressed, and the file size cannot exceed 20MB.

Article 11 Supporting materials (no more than 20MB) include all necessary documents to support the model, results and conclusions of the paper, including at least all source programs of the participating papers, and usually including data used in the participating papers (except the original data provided in the competition questions), large graphics or tables of intermediate results, and related materials that are difficult to find from public sources. All supporting materials are compressed in a file (suffix RAR) using WinRAR software; If the supporting materials are inconsistent with the contents of the paper, the qualification of the paper may be cancelled. The certification materials cannot contain the letter of commitment and the special page for numbering, and cannot contain any information that may show the identity, school and competition area of the applicant. If there is really no supporting materials to be provided, supporting materials may not be provided.

Three. Implementation and interpretation of this specification

Article 12 Papers that do not conform to this format specification will be regarded as violating the competition rules and may be disqualified from winning the prize.

Thirteenth, the right to interpret this specification belongs to the Organizing Committee of the National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students.

Description:

(1) The undergraduate team chooses one of the questions A and B, and the specialist team chooses one of the questions C and D. ..

(2) The competition area can decide whether to collect the paper version of the participating papers at the end of the competition, but the competition area must provide the paper version that meets the requirements of this specification (the letter of commitment is kept by the organizing committee of the competition area and need not be submitted to the National Organizing Committee).

(3) Write down the first page (commitment letter) of paper paper and keep it for division review. At the same time, the division review number shall be established on the first page and the second page (the numbering method shall be specified by each division), and the division review can use the "Division Review Record" form (it is up to each division to decide whether to use it). After the audit in the competition area, the "National Unified Number of Papers Submitted for Review" will be established on the second page (the numbering method will be stipulated by the National Organizing Committee), and then it will be sent to the whole country for audit.
