Significance: Taking history as a mirror, building the party and governing the country is a fine tradition of our party. The Fourth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of China Producers' Party emphasized that it is necessary to "organize party member cadres to concentrate on studying Marxist theory, the party's line, principles and policies, national laws and regulations and the party's history".

This is the first time in the resolution of the Central Plenary Session of the Party that "learning the history of the Party" was explicitly put forward. This is an important measure to strengthen the party's construction, and it is of great significance to inherit the party's fine traditions, build a learning party, learn from historical wisdom, improve the ruling ability, and solve practical problems.

Requirements for studying the history of the Party:

1. To learn the history of the Party, we must adhere to the grand historical vision and dialectical thinking method, and combine the struggle history of China's * * * production party for nearly a hundred years with the history of Chinese civilization for more than 5,000 years, the history of world socialist movement for more than 500 years, the struggle history of China people 170 years in modern times, the development history of China people for 70 years and the exploration history of reform and opening up for more than 40 years.

When studying the history of the Party, we must regard the history of the Party as a vivid teaching material and a weapon of armed thoughts, benefit from inheriting the fine traditions of the Party, enlighten wisdom from the successful experience of the Party, and build a more solid spiritual home for party member.
