Congratulations! I am very glad to hear that you have just been admitted to Yale University. I know there is a lot of competition this year, but your hard work and perseverance have certainly paid off.
I want to give you some practical suggestions on how to prepare for college life. First of all, I hope you can make full use of the university library and read extracurricular books. Secondly, I think free time should be spent on three main activities-physical exercise, relaxation and communication with friends and family.
I wish you greater success in your further study. I hope you can invite me to your graduation ceremony in four years.
Yours,
Jerry
