At present, he is the director of the Department of World History in the School of History and Culture of Southwest University, the tutor of master students, the executive director and vice president of the China World Modern History Research Association, the first batch of "national training" experts in teacher education in the Ministry of Education, the academic and technical leader in Chongqing, and the communication judge of the National Social Science Fund. In social work, he is currently a member of Chongqing Beibei District Political Consultative Conference, Chongqing Municipal Committee of Jiu San Society, Beibei District Committee of Jiu San Society, Vice Chairman of Southwest University Committee of Jiu San Society and Chairman of Southwest University of Jiu San Society.
He has published more than 60 academic papers in World History, World History Research Yearbook, Japanese Studies, Northeast Asia Forum and other magazines, published 4 academic monographs in People's Publishing House and Central Compilation Publishing House, presided over 8 national, provincial and ministerial-level topics, served as the editor-in-chief of World History, the standard experimental textbook for nine-year compulsory education and the deputy editor-in-chief of World History Teaching Reference Book, and won the title of Sichuan Philosophy.
He has been engaged in the teaching and research of modern world history, Japanese and East Asian history, middle school history teaching and textbook compilation for a long time. In particular, he has made great achievements in the study of Japan's modernization and postwar East Asian economy, and put forward personal views and opinions on the successful factors and historical limitations of Japan's Meiji Restoration, the domestic and foreign political factors of Japan's economic revival after the war, the influence of eastern and western cultures on Japan, the opportunity of the rise of East Asia after the war, Confucian culture and modernization, which have certain influence on historians at home and abroad.
