The credit system is an education charging system based on professional registered tuition and credit tuition. The sum of professional registration tuition and credit tuition paid by students to complete their studies is not higher than the original academic year tuition.
It used to be charged according to the academic year, but now the tuition fee averages to credits. If the tuition fee is 4,000 a year and 20 credits are taken, then one credit is 200 yuan. At the end of the course, if you take 18 credits, the school will refund you 400 yuan.
After the implementation of the credit system, the school can charge tuition fees for students who still fail to pass the make-up exam and need to study the course again, but the tuition fee standard shall not exceed the original fee standard for studying the course.
Schools must charge tuition fees according to the academic performance of the courses actually taken by students in that year. At the beginning of the school year, the school will charge tuition fees in advance according to the professional school year fee standard. At the beginning of the next academic year, according to the credits actually completed by students in the previous academic year, tuition fees will be settled on the principle of refunding more and making up less until graduation.
What is the credit charging system?
The credit system, also known as the credit system, means that colleges and universities charge corresponding fees according to the credits of different subjects that students will take in the future. Liaoning began to reform the charging system in 2004 and fully implemented the credit system. Starting from the 2006 school year in Shanghai, Tongji University, East China Normal University, Shanghai University, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Institute of Physical Education and other 14 universities will try out the credit system. Twenty universities, including Southeast University of Jiangsu Province, began to implement credit system charge management in the autumn semester of 2007. The credit system charging scheme of universities in Beijing has been worked out and entered the examination and approval procedure. The credit system of colleges and universities in Beijing will start in the autumn of 20 10 at the earliest.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, colleges and universities will charge fees according to the credit system in accordance with relevant regulations, and listen to the opinions of the society extensively. After being approved by the price department, it will be opened in colleges and universities in the city. After charging by credit, the charging standard of unit credit will be calculated according to the training cost and teaching cost of the school. However, most students who complete their courses in normal years will not pay higher tuition fees than the current standard of charging by academic year. Only by taking more courses or retaking credits can you pay more than other students. In addition, in the new academic year, some college students in Beijing's municipal universities can also take courses in subordinate universities across schools.
