Guiyang Yang Kang Vocational College is the earliest health vocational school in Guizhou Province, the first full-time public undergraduate vocational school in Guizhou Province, and the only professional undergraduate college with Yang Kang characteristics in China. The school was founded in 1939, and has gone through such historical periods as Guizhou Medical Vocational School, Guiyang Medical Higher Vocational School, Guizhou Health School, Guiyang Health School and Guiyang Nursing Vocational College. 202 1, approved by the Ministry of Education and Guizhou Provincial People's Government, was renamed Guiyang Yang Kang Vocational University.
