1. Northeastern University: Located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, it is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau, Liaoning Province and Shenyang City.
