Undergraduate students will have a chance to change their major next semester. In order to carry out the educational concept of focusing on students' development and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, the "zero threshold" is implemented for changing majors and a selective approach is adopted. The school no longer uniformly stipulates other registration conditions, and students can register freely. Each college independently determines the selection method, assessment content and admission criteria, and completes the selection and admission work within the specified time period.

Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools begins with students of grade 20 19. The four majors of mathematics and applied mathematics, applied physics, biological science and applied chemistry in Australia National Union College of Science can be interchanged, and the three majors of Sino-foreign cooperative education can be interchanged. The four majors of the Australian National Union College of Science are not allowed to be transferred with the three Chinese-foreign cooperative education majors of other colleges. All Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools are not allowed to switch to general majors.
