Purdue University has its own private airport, less than a mile from the campus. However, because only private planes are allowed to land here, and there are no commercial flights, students need to choose to arrive at the nearby Chicago O'Hare Airport or Indianapolis Airport, and then transfer to the transportation from West Lafayette to Purdue University.
