I. Introduction to the College
School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Xi Jiaotong University was formally established, 1994. There are seven departments (centers) including philosophy department, sociology department, Chinese department, art department, China calligraphy department, music education center and social psychology research institute, covering four disciplines: philosophy, law, literature and art. Including: 1 first-class postdoctoral mobile station, 2 first-class doctoral programs, 3 first-class master programs, 2 professional master programs and 5 undergraduate majors.
Second, the teaching staff.
The college has a strong faculty, with 39 faculty members 139, including 32 professors, 60 associate professors and 30 doctoral supervisors. National top-notch young talents 1 person, leading scholars 1 person, 4 top-notch young talents, 2 experts enjoying special government allowance, and 2 famous teachers in Shaanxi Province.
Third, academic research.
The college has seven professional academic research institutions, including the Institute of Cultural Philosophy, the Institute of Xi 'an Drum Music, the Institute of Modeling and Appearance Art, the Research Center of Cultural and Creative Industries, the Social Investigation Research Center, the International Research Center of Information Philosophy, and the Interdisciplinary Research Institute of Calligraphy Art and Information Technology. It has a small library of humanities and social sciences with a collection of 6,543,800 books and more than 300 titles per year.
