Hexi Campus of Hunan University of Technology includes School of Packaging Design and Art, School of Packaging and Materials Engineering, School of Packaging and Printing, School of Civil Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Law, School of Business, School of Finance and Economics, School of Metallurgical Engineering, School of Foreign Languages, School of Computer and Communication, School of International Relations and School of Science. Other colleges are in the north campus.

The new campus of Hunan University of Technology (also known as "Hexi Campus") is located in Tianyuan District, a new city in Zhuzhou City, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment, covering an area of nearly 4,000 mu, adjacent to the famous Cheng Shennong Ecological University Motto Square Garden and Yan Di Square in the east and the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway Zhuzhou Station in the west. Since the construction of the new campus started, the total area of the school has reached 245 1.644 square meters, and the investment has reached more than 1 billion yuan. In 20 14, more than 38,000 teachers and students from various colleges, including undergraduates, master students and doctoral students, have moved into the new campus. On 20 10, the school administration moved into the new campus, which marked that Hexi new campus officially became the main campus of Hunan University of Technology.
