What are the three forms of design sketch?
Design sketch is generally divided into three forms: copying, sketching and creation. Copying and sketching are important ways to learn Chinese painting. Copying focuses on learning from the tradition, also known as "learning from the ancients", and sketching focuses on learning from nature, also known as "learning from nature". The former focuses on mastering pen and ink techniques, while the latter focuses on training observation and modeling skills and accumulating painting materials. They complement each other, and all roads lead to the same goal. They are all essential basic skills of self-painting in learning, which are described as follows.

Copying is to imitate the original works of calligraphy and painting, which is called copying. Replication usually has four contents: 1. Face. That is, in the face of other people's paintings or printed matter, according to the pen, ink, color and composition of their own works, they paint meticulously. Beginners should go from easy to difficult, from simple to complicated, step by step, first have some simple compositions, and then have experience. For temporary, a painting can also be broken down. First, a certain part, such as trees, rocks, or peaks and mountains, is specially drawn, and then combined into a complete picture.

2. Turn away. It is a step higher than the requirements of Pro, which requires the painter to study the original work carefully, memorize its brushwork and composition one by one, and then copy it behind his back.

3. Artistic conception, that is, copying a work does not require the shape, but learning part of it, or taking brushwork, pen and ink, composition, style and artistic conception. As the ancients said, the intention of releasing the market is not a sign. The advantage of this kind of copying is relative freedom. You can get rid of the shackles of appearance, pursue spiritual similarity, and truly integrate the strengths of a family into your own works.

4. Look at the picture. Drawing is to solve the problem of "hands", and reading pictures is to solve the problem of "eyes". When drawing, raise your hand only when your eyes are high. It should be said that it is normal for the derogatory term "eyes are superior and eyes are inferior" to be used in learning painting, because it is impossible for a painter to improve his expressive ability without theoretical level and appreciation ability. When you look at a painting, you must be able to identify its advantages and disadvantages. You can tell some truth: to do this, you have to make some efforts. Therefore, it is very important for a painter to read and study the works of predecessors. Only by seeing more can we absorb more; Only with high appreciation can we consciously overcome our weaknesses and make the expression more perfect.

Sketch means that the description of the "shape" of an object must be based on the objective "thing". Landscape painters have always emphasized "natural creation by foreign teachers", which also includes the meaning of "sketching". There are two ways to sketch Chinese painting: 1. Outline the scenery.

The sketch of Chinese painting is different from that of western painting. Western painting is to face the scenery, use perspective, color and other techniques, pay attention to the relationship between light and shape, draw while watching, and add changes repeatedly until it is completed. This method of sketching can be called "direct sketching". The sketching of Chinese painting is done indirectly. Painters face nature, observe more than describe, and often use sketching skills. Sketch can only be called "semi-finished product". China's sketch is generally divided into two steps: sketching the scene is only the first step. At this time, the painter focuses on observation and experience, and grasps the characteristics and spiritual temperament of objective objects. The draft only plays the role of strengthening memory and providing material for the next creation. The second step is to refine the draft, process and create it until it is completed. Sketch painting focuses on pen and ink, composition and artistic conception, which makes the works more aesthetic.

2. "Keep it in mind"

There is also a unique method of sketching in Chinese painting, that is, dictation. In ancient times, it was called "memorizing", that is, you don't have to face the real thing to sketch, but remember what you saw in your heart and draw it on your back when you go back. A landscape painter must have dictation skills. Only with this skill can he capture the wonders of rain, snow and dew, hide everything in his chest, write wonderfully, and portray mountains and rivers vividly.

Pen and ink, composition, sketch and other issues are all preparations for creation, and creation is the comprehensive application of all techniques. Learning landscape painting creation: First, we should go deep into nature, take the real landscape as the creative material, and we should not build a car behind closed doors, take other people's works as the only basis for creation, and engage in "moving mountains" behind closed doors. That's not the road to success.

Second, we should process the natural image into an artistic image, not as a "camera". In today's highly developed photography technology, painting has not been replaced by photography precisely because it contains the painter's subjective spirit. Painting comes from reality, but it is higher than reality.
