Dalian University is in the development zone, far from Dalian, and there is no junior college nearby. Dalian Ocean University Vocational and Technical College is located in Wafangdian, a secondary city in Dalian. From Wafangdian to Dalian by car, there are two kinds of trains and buses, which take about 1 to two hours. From Dalian to Dalian University, it takes about an hour and a half to take the light rail to the bus and less than an hour to take a taxi.
