China Geo University (Beijing) is a 2 1 1 university, but it is not a 985 university.

China Geo University (Beijing) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and built by the Ministry of Land and Resources, which is characterized by geology, resources, environment, geoscience engineering technology and resource industry economy, and has the coordinated development of science, engineering, literature, management, economics and law. It is the first batch of key construction universities in China, namely "2 1 1 Engineering" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform".

China Geo University (Beijing) is located in Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing.
