Chongqing No.7 Senior Middle School is located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, the first batch of key middle schools in Chongqing, the first batch of municipal and national demonstration high schools in Chongqing, and the new curriculum experimental sample school of ordinary high schools in Chongqing. In the 15th year of Qianlong in Chongqing No.7 Middle School (AD 1750), Jinyun Academy was merged into Yuzhou Academy, because Zhang Dun, the magistrate of Ba County, was close to the city and was not a place to study. (Ba Jun Zhi) This is the earliest record seen in the literature before Dongchuan Academy. On April 23, 2020, it was listed as "Middle School Affiliated to Chongqing University" and "Chongqing No.7 Middle School".
