Panzhihua university College of Literature takes "writing" as the highest orientation, "application" as the ultimate goal, "knowledge of education" as the core content, "moral education" as the fundamental task, "application first" as the important direction, and is committed to all-round development, striving to cultivate young people with ideals, morality, culture and discipline in the new era.
Panzhihua university is the only comprehensive public undergraduate college in southwest Sichuan and northwest Yunnan focusing on science, engineering, literature, law, economics, management, medicine, literature and agriculture. The school is located in Panzhihua City, the famous capital of vanadium and titanium, the sunshine flower city, a health resort and the only city named after flowers in China.
The school was founded in 1983, initiated by Fang Yi, Song Renqiong and other revolutionaries of the older generation. Fang Yi and Fei Xiaotong, leaders of the Party and state, successively wrote the name of panzhihua university. 1994 merged with Panzhihua Institute of Education, 1998 merged with Panzhihua Health School, and 200 1 was transformed into an undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education and renamed as "panzhihua university"; In 2004, Panzhihua Senior Technical School was integrated into the school, and in 2005, it was newly added as a bachelor's degree awarding unit.
In 2007, Panzhihua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine was placed under the management of the school as a directly affiliated hospital, and Panzhihua Central Hospital became the second clinical medical college of the school 2017; Postgraduate education (joint training with universities such as xihua university) was started in 2007, and international education was started on 20 17.
