Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University is a multidisciplinary university with a long history. It was formed by the merger of Fujian Agricultural University and Fujian Forestry College. Its predecessors were Fujian United University Agricultural College founded in 1936 and Fujian Provincial Agricultural College founded in 1940 respectively. The school is located in the western suburbs of Fuzhou, with Nanping campus. The campus covers an area of 228 1 1 000 square meters, with a building area of 7 1 000 square meters.
