This year's summer practice activities have ended. My unit is xx Marketing Promotion Center, and my post is network editor, where I worked as an intern for one month. As a college student who has not officially gone to work, I have really gained a lot here and experienced a lot of exercises that I can't get in class. However, through what I have seen and heard for more than a month, combined with what I have learned, I also have some views on your company:

First, this unit is a news unit, but its sense of innovation and competition is relatively weak. Since the establishment of XX, X has been building itself into a traditional news website. The layout of the website is not very clear, and the content keeps up with the government dynamics, lacking entertainment and interactivity. After the revision of XX, the content is slightly rich, but there is still a gap with some well-known websites in China. Moreover, xx itself belongs to the leadership of xx Propaganda Department, and lacks competition with other media with the support of the government, which is also an important reason for its stagnation.

Second, the information section is obsolete, with little original content and low page views. Although X has opened more than 30 channels, it rarely changes with time. Some sections are becoming zombie sections, which exist only to support the layout, which is a great waste of layout resources. In addition, the original content of the information section is very few, and all the information is basically reproduced from other well-known websites, so it is difficult to make its own characteristics, and the number of views of netizens will certainly not be high. The original is the most attractive, which should be the expectation of most netizens.

Third: the unit has insufficient full-time employees. It is possible that considering the operating costs, there is a serious shortage of full-time staff in my department, and most of them are interns, because interns have no salary, which indirectly exposes the company's poor efficiency. Because most interns have short working hours and are unfamiliar with the business, it is easy to affect the work efficiency and quality, and a group of interns will have to take out special personnel to guide them, which will also occupy the shortage of human resources. A unit can't do excellent business without an excellent team.

Fourth: the promotion is not enough. As a news website, promotion is our own responsibility. While promoting others, we must first promote ourselves. In contrast, X itself is not very strong in communication, and it is rarely promoted by other commercial activities except news events, so its popularity among netizens has not been very high. It feels like just a news website that should work hard.

Of course, the growth of a company is not achieved overnight, and X is constantly adjusting and reforming. Moreover, in the face of increasingly fierce competition in the media industry, news organizations are forced to make continuous progress to ensure that they can catch up with the times. It is possible that my idea is not mature now, but I believe that X is constantly advancing and its tomorrow is brilliant!
