Chang 'an University is located in Xi, the capital of Shaanxi Province, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a national "world-class discipline construction university" jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, a national "21/project" key construction university and a national "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform" construction university.
