1, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, referred to as Chengdian for short, is a high-level research-oriented university under the national "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project", which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Sichuan Province and Chengdu. The school is characterized by electronic information science and technology, focusing on engineering, with the coordinated development of science, engineering, management, literature, economics and law. The school has two campuses, located in Chengdu and Mianyang respectively.
2. Sichuan University
Sichuan University, referred to as Sichuan University for short, is a comprehensive research-oriented university under the national "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project", which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Sichuan Province and Chengdu. The school was formed by the merger of Sichuan University, Chengdu University of Science and Technology and West China University of Medical Sciences. It has three campuses: Jiang 'an Campus, Wangjiang Campus and Huaxi Campus.
3. Southwestern University of Finance and Economics
Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, referred to as Cai Xi for short, is a research-oriented university of finance and economics jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Province. The school was formed by the merger of the former Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and the former Sichuan International Studies University. It has two campuses: Guangdu Campus and Liulin Campus. The school takes financial economy as its advantage and management as its feature, involving many disciplines such as law, literature and science.
4. Southwest Jiaotong University
Southwest Jiaotong University, referred to as Southwest Jiaotong University or Xi 'an Jiaotong University, is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, China Railway Corporation and Sichuan Province. The school is the first engineering college in China, the birthplace of higher education in civil engineering, traffic engineering and mining and metallurgy engineering in China, and one of the two earliest sources of Jiaotong University. The school has two campuses: Xipu Campus and Jiulidi Campus.
5. Southwest Petroleum University
Southwest Petroleum University, referred to as Southwest Petroleum or Western Petroleum for short, is a national "world-class discipline construction university" and an energy research university jointly established by China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group, China Petrochemical Group, China Offshore Oil Corporation and Sichuan Province. The school was formed by the merger of Chengdu Institute of Geology, Sichuan Business School and Nonferrous Metals Geology Staff College.
