1. According to an insider's inquiry, Chongqing is a provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), with only one university town, which is located in Huxi Street, Xianglushan Street, Wen Feng Street and Chen Jiaqiao Street in the west of Shapingba District of Chongqing, covering an area of 20 square kilometers. Approved by Chongqing Municipal People's Government on April 4, 2003. Colleges and universities in Chongqing University Town include PLA Army Medical University, Chongqing University, Chongqing Medical University and Chongqing Normal University.
