Flight attendants of domestic airlines are generally divided into trainee flight attendants, ordinary flight attendants, international flight attendants and flight attendants according to their positions and incomes.
Ordinary flight attendants usually fly on domestic flights for about two years, with a monthly salary of 2,000-3,000 yuan; After that, you can fly the regular class of international flights, and then fly two classes (business class and first class), with a monthly salary of about 5,000 yuan; Later, he was promoted to flight attendant (regional flight attendant, flight attendant), with a monthly salary of about 9000 yuan. With the intensification of market competition in the aviation industry, the income gap of flight attendants in different positions will become larger and larger.
The flight attendant's salary includes basic salary, flight hour fee and overseas subsidy.
Subsidies from abroad have decreased.
The basic salary is determined according to the titles and jobs approved by the state, which is not much different from that of other social posts. The flight hour fee is calculated according to the flight time of the stewardess, and more work is more. Before 1997, the "superior" part of flight attendant income was mainly reflected in the last item-overseas subsidies.
It is understood that before 1997, airlines implemented the "resident standard" for the subsidies of flight attendants abroad, that is, the standard of living allowance for the countries where flights stay, which can be as high as 70 to 80 dollars a day and as low as 30 to 40 dollars a day. At that time, the average monthly salary of flight attendants was more than 10 thousand, and the highest monthly salary reached more than 20 thousand, which was a real high-income group in society. However, after 1997, the Civil Aviation Administration issued a unified standard for overseas subsidies for flight attendants: $30 per day. This standard is undoubtedly a blockbuster, which lowers the income of flight attendants by a grade.
Limited flight time
Since then, the income growth point of flight attendants has begun to shift to the flight hour fee. At that time, because the country had no restrictions on the flight time of flight attendants, flight attendants took the initiative to "get more for more work." According to the data of Civil Aviation Administration of China, the maximum flight time of some flight attendants at that time reached 200 hours per month. According to the standard of RMB/hour from 30 yuan to 80 yuan, which is usually referenced by major domestic airlines, the income of flight attendants is kept at a high level, and the flight hour fee is generally around 1 10,000 yuan per month.
The flight attendants are in a state of high fatigue for a long time, which makes the Civil Aviation Administration of China restrict the flight time of flight attendants in 2003: the longest flight time of flight attendants per month should not exceed 120 hours, and there is no limit. In this way, the maximum income of flight attendants in this project will not exceed 9600 yuan per month. With the change of shipping market structure, the state has strengthened inspection and monitoring in this respect, and airlines dare not take risks easily. The average monthly salary of flight attendants in China dropped to 3,000-5,000 yuan, and began to be attributed to the middle income level.
Performance-pay linkage
As one of the three major aviation groups in China, China Eastern Airlines took the lead in implementing the employment system of flight attendants, and the performance of flight attendants will be directly linked to salary and benefits. Recently, the Interim Provisions on the Wage Management of Flight Attendants was promulgated, and the wages and benefits of flight attendants with outstanding performance will greatly exceed the original standard. On the other hand, for the crew members with poor performance, they can not only fall below the "bottom line", but even be "resigned" according to the provisions of the labor contract. The promulgation of the "Regulations" is to separate the wage system of aircrew from that of ground crew. In the future, the increase of flight attendants' salary standard is mainly reflected in the increase of flight hour fee standard.
