I. Brief introduction of practical background

Ma 'anshan Village, located in Busy C Township, Zhenkang County, lincang City, Yunnan Province, is the poorest municipal poverty-stricken village in Busy C Township. There are many mountains in Maanshan village, which can be dubbed as "traffic basically depends on walking, and communication basically depends on shouting". A considerable number of young people in the village go to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu and other developed areas to work, while the rest of the women, children, the elderly and the weak stay at home to make a living on a few acres of farmland, and the living standards of the villagers are generally underground.

In view of the poor condition of teachers and equipment, teachers and students are leaving school year by year. At present, there are only 3 teachers and 23 students in this primary school, and the conditions are quite difficult. Moreover, only 23 students are left-behind children, who are not cared for by their parents and relatives all the year round, and their psychological status is worrying.

Second, the preliminary preparation

1, members of the summer social practice teaching team of Jianghan Oilfield college students gathered in Guanghua Middle School of Jianghan Oilfield to discuss the practice plan.

2. The team members proposed to send warmth to the children in Maanshan Village, and mobilized the students to actively donate stationery, books, clothes, shuttlecock, skipping rope, football and other supplies.

3. The team members began to collect games, songs, poems and short stories suitable for primary school students as an aid to the teaching content, and fully prepared Sanda, skipping rope, shuttlecock and other related course contents according to the existing level, hoping to enrich the teaching content and let the teaching team teach more things to local students in a limited time.

4. After consulting the relevant information, the team members summarized the information, and made a questionnaire survey on the current situation of students in Maanshan Primary School from three aspects: students, guardians and teachers, with a view to reflecting all aspects of local left-behind children.

Third, the timetable.

From August 5 th to August 6 th, seven members of the teaching team set out from Jianghan Oilfield and went to Maanshan Village to contact the local school principals and village-level cadres and arrange accommodation.

August 7th-Distribute stationery, books, clothes, shuttlecock, skipping rope, football and other supplies to children, play games with them and mingle with them.

August 8th-Teach students the prepared things, and teach them to learn Sanda, skipping rope, shuttlecock and other sports, strengthen communication with children, and complete the questionnaire.

August 9th-The team members, led by some students, visited some students' homes and got a deep understanding of local family life.

August10-August 1 1- A bonfire party was held with the students that night. The team members left Maanshan Village and returned to Jianghan Oilfield the next day.

August, 2002 12-Hold a summary meeting for all team members, make statistics and process the questionnaire data, and draw a preliminary investigation conclusion.

Fourth, experience

In this practical activity, we have been testing our abilities that we can't learn in our respective schools from the planning and preparation in the early stage to the summary and treatment in the later stage. Each of these contents should be arranged by yourself, and strive for clear thinking and clear organization. In the daily study and life of the school, everyone's ability to exercise in this area is too little, which leads to some unsatisfactory places in practice, but it is still very effective on the whole.

Everyone exercised and strengthened our communication skills in conversations with village committees, teachers, parents and children.

In the days of teaching, everyone spends every day in various complicated moods. Seeing the hard study and living conditions of 10-year-old children, we felt a surge of sadness. Some children are very poor since childhood and lack the care of their parents. We sympathize with them. Seeing that some parents are suspicious of each other, the children have no ideals in their hearts, and we want to help but feel extremely powerless; We are very touched to see the children picking Xinger and plums from the mountain every day, bringing us fresh vegetables ... We have seen the relevant reports of children in poor mountain valleys in the media and always felt that they are far away from us. Until we saw all this, our hearts were shocked by the scenes in this mountain. As college students, we live a carefree life every day. Have we ever thought about the children who are trapped in the mountains and endure the special treatment of life? In our hands, 10 yuan may be just a meal, or a few packs of snacks, or even insignificant, even so small that we don't know what 10 yuan can do. However, in Ma 'anshan Village, 10 yuan is a primary school resident's living expenses for one week! This is a huge realistic contrast that we all really feel!

As contemporary college students, we should understand the burden on our shoulders and clearly realize that there are still many problems today. There are still many poor people struggling on the edge of life, many small mountain villages like Maanshan Village need social attention, and many children like Maanshan Village are confused about their future. We have no reason to talk about pleasure, luxury and waste. What we should do is to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of hard work, keep the habit of thrift, and spur ourselves with what we have seen and heard these days. From now on, we should strive to enrich ourselves and strengthen ourselves. When we have the strength in the future, we must help those who are trapped by life, change the current situation like Maanshan, and make our greatest contribution to building a well-off society in an all-round way and building a harmonious socialist society!
