South China University of Technology has three campuses, namely Wushan Campus, University Town Campus and Guangzhou International Campus. Wushan Campus is located at No.381Wushan Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province; The University Town Campus is located at No.382, Outer Ring East Road, Guangzhou University Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province; Guangzhou International Campus is located at No.777, Xingye Avenue East, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.
South China University of Technology, referred to as "South China University of Technology", is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. It is a national key university determined by the Ministry of Education and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. Ranked among the national "double first-class", "2 1 1 project" and "985 project", and was selected into the discipline innovation and intelligence introduction plan of colleges and universities.
South China University of Technology, formerly known as South China University of Technology, can be traced back to a class of industrial schools in Guangdong Province, and was established in 19 1952. 1952 was formally established, and was transferred to Hunan University, Zhonghua University in Wuchang, Wuhan Jiaotong University and Guangdong Institute of Technology on the basis of engineering departments and majors of Sun Yat-sen University, South China United University Institute of Technology and Lingnan University Institute of Technology.
The history of South China University of Technology can be traced back to the 1930s, even to the late Qing Dynasty. The Institute of Technology of Sun Yat-sen University, as the foundation of its establishment, originated from the National Institute of Technology of Sun Yat-sen University and was established in 193 1 and in1August, 934. In September, Sun Yat-sen University moved to Guangzhou Shipai, now South China University of Technology. The School of Engineering of South China United University was formed by the merger of Guangdong University for Nationalities, established by 1930, and Guangzhou University, established by 1940.
