In 2022, two schools in Jiangsu ranked as follows:

1, Jiangsu Normal University (ranked 5 1 in the whole province): Jiangsu Normal University, located in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is jointly built by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and is a Class B construction university under the peak plan of high-level university construction in Jiangsu Province.

2. Nanjing Art Institute (ranked 52nd in the province): Nanjing Art Institute, referred to as "Nanyi", is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is a university jointly founded by the Ministry of People, Culture and Tourism of China and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. It is the only comprehensive art institution in Jiangsu Province and the earliest independent art institution in China.
