Jinwu University of Technology is located in Kamei City, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Kamei City, the birthplace of President park chung-hee, has the largest inland industrial cluster in South Korea. Its main industries include semiconductors, mobile phones, liquid crystals, computers, televisions, refrigerators, monitors, IT and other cutting-edge industries. In 2005, the export volume reached US$ 30.529 billion. It is the center of South Korea's electronics industry, known as the Silicon Valley of South Korea, and also the production base of multinational companies such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai and Daewoo.
