North university of china is a multi-disciplinary teaching and research university jointly founded by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and managed by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government. The school, formerly known as Taihang Industrial School, was the first ordnance school of our party and army founded by the Eighth Route Army General Command in Taihang Anti-Japanese Base Area on 194 1, and is known as the "People's First Ordnance School".
